Planed smooth four sides s4s

We realise planed square edge (PSE),Surfaced Four Sides (S4S), Dressed All Round (DAR), Planed All Round (PAR), Planed All Over (PAO) is the most popular joinery and construction timber section. It is supplied by ourselves in a wide range of sizes as planed square edge in packs or bundles suitable for the DIY chain, DIY stores, builders and timber merchant stores and bulk joinery and construction purchases.

The timber is not only FSC, or PEFC Certified (Chain of Custody- CoC)  but also kiln-dried slow grown softwood in a number of softwood species whitewood – spruce and some in redwood – scots pine and Siberian larch.

The Redwood and Whitewood is suitable for use internally, to use externally they will need to be treated, Siberian larch can be used externally above ground without the need for additional treatment.  These are ready to fix or for site pre-finishing e,g oiling waxing staining etc.

The popular sizes we supply include; Ex 2×1, 3×1,  4×1, nominal. Our quality is AB Grade Quality request for images/samples to establish a comparison to BS EN 942:2007 Timber in joinery.
